About the Role:
We are seeking a CYME Application Engineer with expertise in electric utility distribution modeling, GIS integration, and CYME software solutions. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and optimizing CYME equipment and network databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CYME equipment and network databases, ensuring seamless integration with GIS and PI systems.
Create one-line substation drawings and update distribution models to reflect operational changes.
Design, configure, and test CYME application solutions to meet evolving business and technology needs.
Evaluate existing CYME applications and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align CYME solutions with utility operations, grid modernization, and strategic IT initiatives.
Serve as a functional expert, defining business requirements, quality assurance standards, and reporting metrics.
Work closely with partners and utility teams to optimize system performance and enhance integration efforts.
Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and benchmarking efforts to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience working with CYME software in an electric utility or consulting environment.
Strong knowledge of distribution modeling, substation design, GIS, and PI system integration.
Hands-on expertise in design engineering, system configuration, and application development.
Experience evaluating and optimizing CYME application solutions for operational efficiency.
Ability to work cross-functionally, providing technical leadership and strategic recommendations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define business requirements and drive process improvements.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with grid modernization projects, smart grid technology, and advanced distribution management systems (ADMS).
Familiarity with cloud-based integration, automation tools, and IT/OT convergence.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the energy sector.
