Job Title: Industrial Electrician Maintenance Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Electrician Maintenance Technician to join our team at our 24-hour facility. This role is essential to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical, instrumentation, and distributed control systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting plant equipment while adhering to high safety and professional standards.
Salary: $38 - $41 per hour, plus guaranteed overtime
Schedule: Monday through Friday, minimum 10-hour shifts, with rotation to nights. Includes on-call rotation and occasional Saturdays (6 AM to 12 PM).
Location: 24-hour plant facility, Peekskill, NY
Benefits: Full benefits package
Sign-on Bonus: $3,500
Key Responsibilities:
� Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
o Inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems.
o Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment to minimize downtime.
o Diagnose and resolve electrical and equipment-related issues effectively and independently.
o Operate and maintain tools such as industrial forklifts, manlifts, and skid steer loaders.
� Safety & Compliance:
o Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
o Identify and address safety and environmental hazards promptly.
o Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies.
� Work Documentation & Communication:
o Complete work orders and requisitions accurately, documenting critical details.
o Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
� Flexibility & Commitment:
o Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency repairs as needed.
o Support occasional Saturday shifts and night rotations as scheduled.
o Provide technical support to other facilities within the company, requiring occasional travel.
o Perform duties beyond primary responsibilities when requested.
Qualifications:
� High school diploma or GED equivalent.
� Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical maintenance field.
� Required licensure as per State, Federal, or Environmental regulatory agencies.
� Strong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
� Proficient in using precision measuring tools and interpreting technical manuals.
� Ability to work overtime and adapt to rotating shifts in a demanding 24-hour facility environment.
