Power Plant Supervisor

Location: MSAB Air Base
Compensation: $118,000 - $128,000

Summary: Seeking a full-time Power Plant Supervisor for MSAB Air Base in Jordan. This overseas position in Jordan offers a unique opportunity to oversee power production and distribution operations at a high-level project site. The role involves high level oversight of power production, distribution operations, and routine and preventative maintenance at facilities operating at 5-85Mw and greater.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on generator sets and associated control systems
- Perform electrical maintenance on power production systems operating at 5-85Mw or greater total output
- Maintain paralleling and main medium voltage switchgear systems, SCADA, and PLC control systems
- Oversee fuel receiving and distribution systems
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA, and NFPA requirements
- Coordinate environmental testing and compliance activities
- Supervise and manage multi-skilled operations and maintenance team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs
- Respond to emergency calls regarding power generation equipment breakdowns
- Attend daily safety meetings and perform internal audits

Qualifications:
- US Security clearance required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience managing multi-diesel driven generator power generation facilities (5-85Mw or greater output)
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in power generation
- Experience with inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems
- High school diploma or GED plus related technical training
- Valid US passport and driver's license
- NFPA 70E electrical safety training certification
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Ability to meet AFCENT Force Health Protection Guidance medical requirements

Working Environment:
