Job Title: Mid-Level T&S Project Manager
Location: Fully Onsite
Department: T&S New Business Department
Project Overview:
Responsible for managing mid-sized substation projects on customer properties, including setting up switchyards and transformers.
The role involves picking up specific portions of projects handed off by Principal Project Managers, requiring close coordination with various stakeholders and customers.
Key Requirements:
Education: A technical engineering degree is required.
Experience: Prior utility experience is essential, with 5 to 8 years of relevant project management experience.
Certifications: CAPM or PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Technical Skills: Strong background in technical engineering, with the ability to manage complex substation setups.
Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end financial planning.
Responsibilities:
Manage assigned sections of larger projects, coordinating closely with the Principal Project Managers.
Engage directly with customers, effectively communicating project progress and handling any customer-related inquiries or issues.
Oversee budget planning, financial forecasting, and year-end expenditure for assigned projects, ensuring financial goals are met.
