[Construction Manager] RCI-TRA-1105 Project Manager (Turnkey & Energy Services) Jacksonville, FL

Position: Project Manager- Turnkey & Energy Services

Monday through Friday; travel-intensive with 50% fieldwork and 50% office work.


Typical hours: 7 am - 5 pm, with frequent night and weekend overtime based on project needs.


12 – months assignment with potential for extension and/or transition to a permanent role.


Responsibilities:


Project Management:

Lead all aspects of a multi-million-dollar portfolio of construction, energy services, and HVAC controls projects.
Responsible for financial management, administrative tasks, project execution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Oversee project development, scope, costs, schedules, and change orders.
Customer & Subcontractor Management:

Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manage subcontractors, from the procurement process through execution, billing, and safety protocols.
Support sales through quote preparation, project validation, and proposal development.
Financial Oversight:

Conduct financial management including cash flow, cost/revenue forecasts, cost analysis, and reporting for project backlog reviews.
Utilize pricing strategies for change orders and manage all aspects of project financials, including collections & billing
Scheduling & Compliance:

Create and maintain project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, critical paths, and resource allocations.
Ensure project compliance with safety guidelines, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Communication & Documentation:

Build relationships and develop communication plans for updates to stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, track deficiencies, and provide corrective actions as needed.
Project Types:

Commercial retrofits of HVAC and air conditioning systems in schools, universities government buildings, and commercial facilities.
Ideal candidates will have experience managing projects valued between $250,000 and $5 million.
Large-scale industrial MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects, including large tonnage HVAC systems, chillers, and building automation systems.
Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is a preferred and/or Construction Project Management Degree and/or 5 + years of equivalent experience as CPM/ Turnkey Project Manager/Energy Services Project Manager
Experience: Strong background in project management with specific experience in HVAC industry
Skills:

Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
Proficiency with PM software and project scheduling – MS Project & Procore – Construction Management tools
Strong verbal, written communication, and customer-facing skills.
Certifications:

OSHA 30 (preferred)
Additional Information:

Will be driving company vehicles.
MVR check required as part of the background screening.
