CTR has an immediate need for Local Marine Mechanics for Shipyard in Bremerton, WA
Paid weekly/ Full Benefits/ Long Term Contract/ OT available

Experienced Mechanic with experience working aboard U.S. Navy Surface ships, performs shipboard repairs, and installs simple and/or complex modifications to equipment utilizing plans, schematics, sketches, blue prints or written and/or verbal instructions.
Experienced with Repairs; troubleshoots, or replaces components, parts, and other mechanical pieces including work on motors, pumps, gears, bearings, electro-mechanical items, valves, valve operators, and other standard engineering mechanical systems aboard marine vessels.
Must follow proper guidance documents and perform work to standardly accepted practices and expectations.
A working Knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items
Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities and have a dependable work ethic
Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form including but not limited to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.
Must be DBIDS eligible (clean background) and able to pass drug test
Must be able to interview in person.
