We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and rigging, with a strong understanding of fire sprinkler fitting and blueprint reading. As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for building and maintaining piping systems, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. Your expertise in various welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), will be essential in executing precise welds and fabricating components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks on pipes using various techniques, including FCAW.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
Rig and position pipes for welding, ensuring proper alignment and support.
Build and install piping systems for fire sprinkler fittings and other applications.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining safety protocols.
Experience

Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or similar role in the welding industry.
Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly FCAW, with the ability to work with various materials.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to piping systems.
Familiarity with rigging practices and safety standards in welding environments.
Ability to maintain precision while working under pressure and tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
