We are looking for experienced shop machinists with six or more years of machining experience.

Located in Newport News, Virginia

Pay depends upon experience up to $38 an hour and $120 a day per diem for days worked. This is an opportunity to work up to two years and make a real difference .

Experience:
Five years minimum experience as an Inside-Shop Machinist.
Recommended Skills:
� Safety orientated
� Proficient with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.
� Operate Manual and/or NC machines such as: lathes, mills, horizontal & vertical machining centers, EDMs, etc.
� Proficient with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc.
� Proficient with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers, etc.
� Proficient with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements Drilling/tapping processes
� Familiar with carbide machining processes
� Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints
� Strong math skills
� Machinist or Tool & Die Apprenticeship Required
