CTR has an immediate need for Marine Carpenters for Shipyard project in Somerset, MA
Per diem available for non-locals

Qualifications/Skills required:
Must have minimum 5 years of experience in Carpentry in Shipyard/Marine environment
Ability to read, interpret and follow engineering blueprints and drawings.
Able to measure, lay out and assemble components
Experience using basic hand and small power tools including drills, saws, sanders, measuring tape, level, screwdriver etc.
Mathematical and analytical skills to complete complex carpentry tasks with minimal assistance
Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install a wide variety of appearance-grade materials
Ability to work with metal, wood and other materials
Must be a highly reliable individual with good organizational skills and be able to work independently
Capable of completing build out (assembly) of galley, salon and helm station
Ability to adjust/modify cabinetry and trim to improve fit and function
Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 60 lbs.
Candidate must be capable of walking and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and transport equipment and boxes.
Able to work on and climb ladders, bend, stoop, crawl and work aboard ships both in the shipyard and on the water.
Ability to work under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
Must be capable of wearing all required personal protective equipment.
Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
Must have a resume with work history.
