A Class Steel Weld Test

3/8" plate 6" long A36/EH36 Mild Steel

Positions-2G, 3G, 4G

0.045"/0.052" E71T-1M Seamless Flu core wire

75% Argon, 25% Carbon Dioxide Gas

Full penetration open butt weld

Must be gouged to sound material on backside with Air-Carbon Arc gouging
