HKA Construction Services is now hiring Welders for a Shipyard located in San Diego, CA. All Applicants must have a minimum of five years' experience and must be able to qualify in FCAW welding process in three positions.

Wages:
$28.00 Per Hour
$160.00 Per Diem Offered, if Eligible
Local to the area - $40.00 Per Hour
Sign on Bonus

Job Task:
- Welds parts in position for fabrication of vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies.
- Uses carbon electrodes to cut, shape and groove metal
- May prepare workplace for welding by clearing/or preheating
- Examines weld sizes of weld beads
- Cleans weld area; sweeps and removes scrap.
- Other job duties as may be assigned relevant to the trade.
