Trade Team is looking for Pipewelders & Pipe Fitters to join our team in Marinette WI.
This a good opportunity to work with the construction of Navy Boats.
MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS PREVIOUS EXP IN THE SHIPYARD
Marine Pipewelder-
Marine Pipe welder is an individual who assembles, installs and maintains pipes for various systems and projects. He is assigned to complete welds on pipes by following strict NAVY standards and procedures, along with ensuring that hangers, valves and support structures are properly installed and maintained.
Pipe welder requires the ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics is also required when applying for this position, as are the skills in recognizing the mechanical functions of moving parts, and applying this knowledge to welding projects.
Main duties-
Complete welding pipe’s job using copper nickel, stainless steel or carbon steel. Install and verify operation of high pressure steel gas pipe and fittings, and fabricate and install steel fittings on water / gas mains.
Non Local Salary-$30.00 plus $150.00 perdiem

Marine Pipefitter-
Journeyman Pipefitters are assigned to rip out, repair, target, layout, fabricate, install and test marine piping systems onboard ships in various stages of repair and modernization. Repair and replacement of ships' piping systems such as Auxiliary Salt Water, Fire Main, Potable Water, Hydraulic, Compressed Air, Fuel Oil, Lube Oil, Engine Exhaust etc. are accomplished utilizing work item specifications, NAVSEA/Military standards and marine blueprints. Necessary fabrication abilities include the use of various shop equipment such as table saws, pipe threading machines, bending machines (power as well as hand operated), drill presses and brazing equipment. Additional tasks associated with this position are the strain free of pumps and miscellaneous ship equipment as well as blanking, pressure testing of tanks (structural boundary testing) and unblinking of the same. Performs related tasks as assigned.
Test-
Silver braze tests
Cuni pipe to bronze sleeve- vertical flow, horizontal flow
Cuni pipe to carbon steel sleeve- vertical flow, horizontal flow
Copper coupling to copper pipe vertical flow, horizontal flow
These tests will be done in a semi - restricted booth.
Non Local Salary-$22.00 plus $150.00 per diem
