System One is currently seeking a Controls Specialist on a 2 year contract position located in Ackerman, MS.

Controls Specialist Responsibilities:

Support and transition between multiple mid to large sized projects
Check cables and wiring in the field
Perform and assist in site walk downs (some travel required)
Prepare cost estimates
Supporting start up
Prepare layouts and conceptual designs.
Work environment is a coal-fired electric generating plant.
Time will be split between a controls office environment and out in the field inside the plant.

Controls Specialist Requirements:
Physical requirements include walking, climbing stairs, ladder climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending and reaching.
Level 1- 0-5 years experience, Level 2- 5-7 years experience, Level 3- 7-10 years

Duration: 2 years
Location: Ackerman, MS
Pay Rate:
Level 1- 45/hr
Level 2- 50/hr
Level 3- 55/hr
PD and mob/demob paid for non-local candidates
