NAES Staffing Services has immediate needs for Wastewater Operators to work in BOW, NH on a 6 month contract position. The plant is coal-fired, transitioning the facility away from coal and into a newer, cleaner energy future.

Pay rate is $45/hr and the daily per diem rate is $198. Selected employees will work dayshift, Mon - Fri with available OT

Job Summary: Operating and maintaining wastewater treatment plant equipment, collecting and testing samples, and ensuring treated water meets EPA standards, while also performing routine maintenance and adhering to safety regulations

Duties:
Determines the need for and performs routine operational tests and adjustments on all power plant systems and components as required
Assists in the investigation of plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events, and provide analyses, recommendations, reports, and appropriate follow-up plans
Performs switching and tagging and housekeeping duties as required
Conducts routine preventive and predictive maintenance on all systems and equipment; supports corrective maintenance efforts on selected equipment when properly trained or supervised
Monitor plant security utilizing systems provided
Insure proper �Lock-out/Tag-out� procedures and other safety procedures are followed
Support maintenance and operations activities as required, including assisting in the testing and maintenance of systems and equipment
Complete preventive maintenance work orders when needed
Reports directly to and seeks advice, counsel, guidance and direction from the Working Foreman concerning all assigned duties
