NSS is seeking experienced Maintenance Techs to assist during an outage in Ludington MI from May 27 -Jun 22. The plant is natural gas 1x1 combined cycle frame 7EA. HGP and modified ST minor. Pay rate is $43.75/hr. Expenses (travel & lodging) are expensed at cost with a daily per diem rate of $100.

Schedule:
� Preoutage: 5 days a week for 8 hours a day, before the outage start date.
� Outage: 12 hours per day. 1 I&C Tech for day shift and the 2nd tech for night shift. Total Outage days is 20 days.
� Post Outage: 2 days onsite after the outage

Job Summary - Under the administrative direction of the Operations and Maintenance Supervisor and the Planner/Scheduler Specialist, the employee will maintain the complete cogeneration facility, including water treatment plant, gas and steam turbines, heat recovery boilers, electrical generators, and auxiliary equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection and repair of all mechanical equipment, buildings and grounds with minimum rework or downtime.
- Troubleshoot non-routine equipment malfunctions and identify short and long term repair options.
- Maintain work areas, housekeeping assignments and required tool inventories.
- Effectively coordinate and direct outside contractors for maintenance/repair activities to minimize plant upsets.
- Assist operations in emergency shutdowns and start-ups and troubleshoot of equipment
malfunctions.
- Utilize Maximo Maintenance Management System to implement comprehensive
preventive/predictive maintenance programs and documentation.
- Understands, supports and follows the NERC guidelines required for power generation.

Experience / Education: Two-year vocational certificate, A.S. degree, or equivalent; and/or four years experience in the mechanical maintenance field.
