** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Engineer to fill a two- year assignment in the Atlanta, GA area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour.

Required PPE: Hard hat and vest to be provided. Steel toe boots will also be required but not provided. Applicant will be required to visit active construction sites to coordinate projects, advise personnel, and for learning opportunities.
Schedule: 4 days in-person, 1 day remote
Skillsets and expertise required for this position include:
� 0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor�s degree
� Introductory engineering knowledge
� Basic problem-solving skills
� Limited discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor
� Basic discipline software knowledge
� Strong work ethic
� Positive attitude
� The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors
Responsibilities:
� Apply engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems
� Support estimate preparation, develop design options, and prepare construction specifications
� Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages
� Create a safe work environment by putting safety first
� Understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance
� Understand the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance
� Understand design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design
� Understand industry Company design standards
� Support design standard and criteria development for the system
� Support construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations
� Estimate material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications
