APS Solutions client is currently seeking a Construction Manager/Owner�s Representative to start June 15th for 5 years located in the Midwestern region of the United States.

The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of construction management experience, expertise in managing EPC contractors, and a track record in commissioning CCGTs. Strong leadership in contract strategy and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Long term 5-year contract assignment opportunity for a Construction Manager/Owner�s Representative with highly experienced Construction Manager expertise in overseeing complex large-scale power generation projects. The Construction Manager will act as the Owner�s representative to ensure the successful delivery of the
Project, meeting safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

*Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction management, including roles
overseeing large-scale power plant projects (preferably combined cycle).

*Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6) and cost management systems.
The Construction Manager will oversee the development and execution of the construction, commissioning, and startup of the Project, ensuring that the Project is completed safely, within budget, on time, and in compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and quality standards. Acting as Owner�s primary representative at site, the Construction Manager provides strategic oversight, ensures alignment with the Project objectives, and coordinates among Owner�s stakeholders, EPC, direct hire construction contractors, and other involved parties.
*Oversight of EPC
*Monitor EPC performance across engineering, BOP Procurement, CM,
and CSU to ensure alignment with the Owner�s objectives.
*Review and validate EPC�s strategies, schedules, progress reports, and
recommendations to ensure they meet contractual obligations.
*Coordinate with EPC to address and resolve issues related to design
integration, procurement, construction, or commissioning/startup.
*Conduct audits and performance reviews of EPC�s operations and staffing.
*Collaborate with the Owner�s internal team and EPC to define an optimal
construction contracting strategy.
*Recommend contract structures (e.g., lump-sum, unit rate, or hybrid models)
based on project risk profile and market conditions.
