Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Work Planning and Scheduling Analyst (Electrical/Instrumentation or Mechanical Maintenance Planner) to fill an eight-month assignment in the Bucks, AL area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Requirements:
Required PPE: Hard Hat, safety toed shoes, ear plugs, and safety glasses

Manager Preferences: 2 Positions- One worker will be focused on Mechanical planning and the other will be focused in Electrical and Instrumentation planning. Please indicate which planner position most closely aligns with your qualifications.

Working Conditions:
This position is a combination of office and plant floor environments.
Must be able to work in various conditions, including exposure to heat, noise, and confined spaces.
Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to support maintenance activities and outages.
Electrical/Instrumentation (E/I) Planner:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/instrumentation maintenance planning, preferably in a power plant or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including control systems, PLCs, DCS, motors, switchgear, and instrumentation devices.
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance planning software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Certification in maintenance planning and scheduling (e.g., SMRP, CMRP) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed maintenance plans and schedules for all electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to prioritize and plan E/I maintenance activities.
Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Identify and procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment for E/I maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend proactive maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with the reliability team to implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
Assist in the development and management of the E/I maintenance budget, including cost tracking and reporting.
Provide technical support and guidance to E/I technicians and other plant personnel.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for equipment failures and downtime incidents.
Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Mechanical Maintenance Planner:

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning, preferably in a power plant or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance planning software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
