NAES Staffing Services has immediate needs for O&M Techs to assist in an outage in Waco TX working in a paper mill plant! We are looking for Techs to start ASAP and work until June 15th. Pay rate is $55 and per diem is $178 daily.

The plant runs 24/7 and the selected candidates will work a Dupont shift with OT.

They have a GE 6B.03 gas turbine. Familiarity with Valmet's DNA, GE's Mark VI, and Parcview is essential. Prior experience working in a paper mill or recycle plant is preferred but not required.

General Requirements:

- Contractors must operate ALL equipment within design, operational, and environmental requirements.

- Capability to lock out all applicable assets.

- Compliance with all safety training and policies.

- Proficiency in operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, etc. Ability to operate an overhead crane preferred.

- Hazard recognition and troubleshooting skills.

- Perform Tech Care Routes.

- Coordinate with mill operations on needs & upset conditions. Use of TCCs (Trouble, Cause, Correction)

- Participate in the weekly meeting for the Monthly outage.

Asset Specific Operational Requirements:

Multimedia Filters:
- Control within design, operational, and quality limits.
- Conduct backwashes.
- Sample inlet and outlet water.
- Replace filter media.
- Conduct water sampling and necessary water tests.

RO Filters:
- Control within design, operational, and quality limits.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as prefilter replacements, RO membrane replacements, and RO membrane cleanings when required.
- Conduct water sampling and necessary tests.

Softeners:
- Control within design, operational, and quality limits.
- Replace resins when required.
- Conduct backwashes and regenerations.
- Conduct water sampling and necessary water tests.

Condensate Polisher:
- Control within design, operational, and quality limits.
- Replace resin.
- Conduct backwashes and regenerations
- Conduct water sampling and necessary water tests.

Package Boiler:
- Control within design, operational, and environmental limits.
- Manage combustion controls and emissions.
- Conduct necessary boiler water and feedwater tests.
- Adjust boiler water chemical injections as needed.
- Minimum feedwater to the boiler must meet ASME suggested water chemistry limits for boilers at 451 � 600psi operating pressure.
- Properly layup the boiler as needed.
- Perform interlock testing, flame safety testing, and any FM Global required test.

HRSG:
- Control within design, operational, and environmental limits.
- Manage combustion control and emissions.
- Sample boiler water and perform boiler water test.
- Adjust the chemical injections as needed.
- Minimum feedwater to the boiler must meet ASME suggested water chemistry limits for boilers at 451 � 600psi operating pressure.
- Asset steam demand is expected to average approximately 200kpph.
- Properly layup the asset when needed.
- Perform interlock testing, flame safety testing, and any FM Global required test.

Steam System Management:
- Understand steam system operations and respond to mill demands.
- Familiarity with PSV, PRV, and steam header limits.

Gas Turbine Operation:
- Control within design, operational, and environmental limits.
- Manage combustion control and emissions.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as oil & air filter replacements.
- Perform interlock checking, flame safety testing, and FM Global testing requirement.
- Understand the different modes of the CTG and its operating abilities.
-Understand PF, MW, MVARs, and MVA.
