** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced GIS Technician to fill a two- year assignment in the Atlanta, GA/Hybrid area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Requirements:
This position is hybrid, in office 4 days a week, starting 3.24, 4 days can be picked M-F.

5 + Years of in-depth experience with GIS tools, databases, and methodologies

Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems or related curriculum

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee GIS technical operations, ensuring optimal data management and visualization practices.
Lead complex GIS projects, from data management to visualization.
Mentor junior GIS technicians.
Ensure alignment of technical activities with GIS strategies.
Engage with stakeholders on GIS technical requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in GIS technical operations.
