NAES Staffing Services is looking for Operations & Maintenance Techs to work at a combined - cycle plant in Pueblo, CO on a 6-12 month contract position. This position pays $60/hr plus per diem ($178 daily) and looking for techs to start mid-February. Prior experience is required working in a combined-cycle power plant. POSITION SUMMARY
Safely perform plant operations, testing, maintenance and administrative functions for a power plant consisting of the following: Two simple cycle GE LMS100 gas turbine generators, one simple cycle GE LM6000 gas turbine generator, two – 2x1 combined
cycle blocks each consisting of two LM6000 gas turbine generators, two Nooter/Erickson heat recovery steam generators and one Siemens steam turbine generator and balance of plant auxiliary equipment.

Essential Job Functions:
- Comprehensive understanding of combined cycle power plant operations to include start-up, shutdown and emergencyoperational actions.
- Perform both routine and non-routine preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
- Operate a forklift.
- Lead trainer in all aspects of plant operations.
- First point of contact for system operational issues.
- Requisition and assist in ordering and receiving plant materials.
- Primary BH representative for contractors on site during major outages.
- Direct and implement emergency procedures as assigned.
- Use installed and portable test equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Perform chemical analysis on plant water systems which include boiler water, demineralized water, condensate water, feedwater, cooling water, and raw water.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on a reverse osmosis, mixed bed type demineralizer and wastewater treatment systems.
- Perform proper turnover discussing current plant status, potential problem areas and status of current clearances and maintenance activities.
- Pre-plan operating strategy to ensure dispatch generation is obtained and on time.
- Review Station Log Books, Dispatch Schedule and the Daily Read File on a daily basis.
- Review Jumper and Lifted Wire Log daily.

Work Experience:
Minimum (6) six years working in a combined cycle or gas turbine power plant environment or equivalent technical training in operations and routine maintenance of power plants or relatable industrial experience
