System One is currently seeking an Electrical Inspector on a 12 month contract position located in Shakopee, MN.

Electrical Inspector Responsibilities:
Supporting installation of three Wartsila units in a pre-engineered metal building that supports them.
Electrical consists of 480 Volt, 4160 Volt and 13.8 kilovolt ties to substation distribution, cabling, power conductor, building wiring at 120 and 240 Volt.
Responsible for reviewing the project drawings, project specs and familiarize yourself with it.
Ensure that all electrical components out in the field are being installed per drawing in spec as required.

Electrical Inspector Requirements:
Utility Electrical
Familiarity with building wiring, Power Distribution systems and Transmission tie-ins
Proficient with PDF/Adobe Pro, Bluebeam and/or other electric drawing management viewing tools.
Must have strong electrical knowledge with 4160 distribution, building wiring, control wiring, electrical distribution systems, 13.8kv transmission distribution, 480 Volt motor control and electrical distribution.
5-7 years of previous electrical inspection experience in addition to hands on technical knowledge to be able to understand right/wrong during contractor electrical oversight.
Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation to/from site

PD: $178/day
