** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist to fill a one-year assignment in the Atlanta, GA area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Requirements:
Three to five years professional experience in strong Architectural History or a related field, along with an undergraduate degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, strong or a related field Preferred: Graduate degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, or a related field
Must meet the Secretary of the Interiors Qualification Standards 36 CFR 61 as an Architectural Historian
Three to five years professional experience in Georgia as an Architectural Historian, Historian, or Historic Preservation Specialist
Knowledge of Georgias architectural styles and typologies
Experience conducting background research and writing cultural resource reports at a professional level
Demonstrated documentation and research experience, including National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility determinations and effects assessments, and architectural surveys
Experience with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Section 106 consultation process
Experience with cultural resource photography and mapping for basic geographic information system (GIS) and data collection
Project management, proposal, and budgeting experience
Experience with NEPA and GEPA
Ability to qualify as an expert witness
Ability to conduct onsite field reviews, site assessments, and architectural surveys
Proficient in ArcGIS programs
Experience with electric utilities and linear utility projects
Experience with Federal Energy Regulation Commission (FERC) and/or Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
Experience with Historic American Building Survey (HABS)/Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) and Permanent Archival Record (PAR) documentation
Standard drug screen and background check required
Must be willing to sign an NDA and/or separation protocol agreement to support Company-owned renewable projects competing in company RFPs.
Essentially no communications are permissible with anyone regarding these projects outside of designated Company personnel. This includes within the contractors own firm/employer
Looking for a firm to a provide a singular person for up to 36 months. Exact timeline can be negotiated in contract.
We do not want the person to be rotational, we want a dedicated employee for a dedicated period of time.
