Construction Manager

System One is currently seeking a strong Construction Manager to involved in major complex projects of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal Construction Manager will have a strong civil background to support solar panel for the BESS.

Construction Manager Responsibilities:
� Supports the management of specific portions of project budget, schedule, overall Construction and Site Safety (both Personnel and Environmental) and can provide accurate, concise updates to management.
� Involved in major complex generation projects focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) typically exceeding $50M.
� On-Site Field Representative to administer contract to ensure EPC, General and Sub-Contractors install in accordance with IFC drawings, contract, schedule, and budget while overseeing Personnel and Environmental Safety (OSHA, SPCC and SWPPP) and Quality Assurance.
� Projects are within Client service territories and typically last a few years each, therefore, the day-to-day office location will be the project site.
� Drive provided goals for internal team and achieve performance-based results.
� Typically reports to a Construction Project Manager.

Construction Manager Requirements:
� Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
� Experience with substation interconnection, distribution, and transmission.
� Knowledge and experience with SCADA systems and IT related software.
� Possess leadership skills with a project team or multiple teams.
� Effective negotiating skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
� Strong critical thinking skills are necessary.
� Skilled in implementing and managing new construction and/or improvement projects.
� Strong team building skills.
� Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
� Ability to resolve technical problems and implement changes.
� Ability to collaborate with multiple entities; internal and external to meet project completion requirements.
� Well versed in reading/interpreting IFC drawings (Construction, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)
� Strong Safety background (Personnel and Environmental)
� Familiar with rigging and handling operations for heavy/critical lifts.
