System One is currently seeking an O&M Technician on a 3 month contract position located in Odessa, TX.

O&M Technician Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain plant equipment such as diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, and boilers
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Monitor and record data such as water test results, fuel consumption, and meter and gauge readings
Assist with plant startup and shutdown procedures, including during outages
Maintain a safe working environment, comply with safety policies, and handle hazardous materials safely
Respond to trouble calls, assess the issue, and take corrective action
Monitor emergency power units to ensure they are operating properly
Maintain data logs and records
Report conflicts to the shift supervisor

O&M Technician Requirements:
Lock out Tag out knowledge
GE and FA experience
Plant operations experience
