APS Solutions client is currently seeking Plant Operators in the Southeastern region for 6 months.

*Per diem is $135
*Mobilization and Demob is included.
***Typically working 50 to 60 hours a week.

Job description

Must Have-Experience with the operations of diaphragm type compressor units
Experience with PLC operations (typical plant starts/stops, alarms and warnings, fault indications and troubleshooting)
Experience with flanged equipment, gaskets and fittings (preferably those rated for high-energy)
Ability to work independently and maintain ownership and accountability for the plant and its continued, safe operation.

Nice to have (in addition to above)

Experience troubleshooting typical 4-20mA instrumentation
Experience with truck/storage vessel connections and loading processes
Experience with process analyzers (NDIR, Gas Chromatographs, Electrolytic Oxygen, etc.)
Experience with high pressure gas systems (specifically hydrogen)
Any DOT experience (Dept. of Transportation) – i.e., rules and guidelines that govern transportation and delivery of explosive materials and gases.
