Title: Turbine Construction Manager

Job Summary:
PIC Group is seeking an experienced Turbine Construction Manager to lead multiple turbine outage projects across Wisconsin. As a Turbine Construction Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex outage projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and safety standards are met. The Turbine Construction Manager will work closely with subcontractors, engineering teams, and site management to deliver successful turbine construction projects, including managing GE turbine outages, coordinating resources, and reporting project progress. This contract role may extend through 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead all aspects of turbine outage project management, including construction oversight, scheduling, and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
• Monitor and report on project progress, including budget tracking, timelines, and quality assurance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to on-site safety standards and practices, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
Job Requirements:
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
• Travel required to project sites across Wisconsin, with work at the corporate office when not on-site.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects from planning through to completion.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with safety and quality programs.
• Proactively identify, understand, and mitigate project risks to maintain project success.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent activity: Standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling.
• Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.
Education / Experience:
• A four-year degree, from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5-10 years construction experience.
• 5-10 years of turbine experience
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
