Title: Hydroelectric Project Manager

Job Summary:
PIC Group has an exciting opportunity for a Hydroelectric Project Manager to manage and support various hydroelectric projects across two key facilities in Wisconsin. This role is designed to assist the current project manager by sharing responsibilities for outage management, ongoing maintenance, and project expansions. The Hydroelectric Project Manager will lead multiple projects and ensure timely execution, compliance with safety standards, and effective resource management. As the hydro program grows, the manager will take on additional responsibilities, ensuring smooth project delivery and execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the current project manager to oversee and execute hydroelectric projects, sharing responsibility for outage management, maintenance scheduling, and project execution.
• Lead outage planning and execution, ensuring all hydro projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Optimize workflows by coordinating resources and working closely with the engineering and operations teams.
• Serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders, including subcontractors and clients, to provide timely updates on project progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, ensuring all project milestones are tracked and reported.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, leading safety programs and on-site practices to promote a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours to accommodate project needs.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed; based out of the Wisconsin corporate office.
• Experience managing complex projects from planning to completion, including overseeing multiple superintendents and project teams.
• Proven ability to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Strong leadership in managing staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and essential project programs such as safety and quality control.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent activity: Standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling.
• Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.
Education / Experience:
• A four year degree, from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years hydroelectric experience.
• 5+ years outage experience.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
