Job Summary:  
PIC Group has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple energy generation engineering projects in Wisconsin. Reporting to the Director of Generation Engineering, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely execution and efficient management of all project phases, from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical engineering and project management experience, enabling them to make key technical decisions, coordinate teams, and maintain project milestones. This role requires a proactive approach to managing resources and meeting the company’s immediate project needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Lead and manage generation engineering projects from the initial planning phase through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
•    Track and report on project progress, adjusting timelines, and budgets as necessary to meet evolving project demands.
•    Leverage mechanical engineering expertise to address technical challenges and guide informed decision-making.
•    Collaborate closely with the engineering team to manage resources effectively, streamline workflows, and ensure efficient project execution.
•    Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications, including coordinating with subcontractors and providing updates to clients and stakeholders.
•    Prepare, maintain, and distribute accurate project documentation and reports to keep all parties informed of project status.
•    Ensure that all safety standards and practices are adhered to on-site, fostering a culture of safety and compliance across all project activities.

Job Requirements:
•    Willingness to work non-traditional hours to meet the needs of the project.
•    Ability to travel to project sites as required, with the Wisconsin corporate office as the base location when not on-site.
•    Experience managing complex, stand-alone projects or overseeing multiple projects simultaneously from the planning stage through completion.
•    Strong leadership in managing company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and various programs, including safety and quality control for all assigned projects.
•    Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.

Physical Requirements:
•    Frequent activity: Standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling.
•    Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.

Education / Experience:
•    A Mechanical Engineering degree, from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or related field preferred
•    5-10 years outage experience
•    In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable
