System One is currently seeking a Civil Construction Supervisor on a 12 month contract position located in Earth, TX.

Civil Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:
The scope of work for this project primarily involves overseeing and ensuring the readiness of the site for an upcoming solar farm installation.
Responsible for managing the civil construction/inspection aspects of the project, which includes addressing the challenges presented by the sandy and hilly terrain where the solar farm will be located.
Responsible for the following:
Site preparation- the candidate will work closely with contactors to ensure that the ground is properly prepared for driving piles, which are essential for the solar farm structure. This involves ensuring the terrain is stabilized and suitable for construction.
Civil Work Oversight- Due to the nature of the land, significant civil work must be completed before solar installation. The candidate will oversee these civil operations, ensuring they meet project standards.
SWIP and Wastewater Plan- The candidate may also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the storm water and wastewater management plant (SWIP) and handling any related issues.
Technical Support- The candidate will handle any general technical or civil- related questions that arise during the project, ensuring that the civil work aligns with both regulatory and project-specific requirements. This position demands a strong background in civil construction/inspection to address the unique challenges of the site and to ensure all civil work is completed efficiently and to the required standards.
Will be working with contractors performing work to ensure safety, In addition, this resource will also be working with the construction managers along with surveyors on site.

Civil Construction Supervisor Requirements:
Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, etc.
5-7 years of experience with Civil Construction and Inspection.
Soil identification and Site Assessment.
Experience with land surveying or soil assessment.
Trenching and excavation experience.
Strong safety background.
Renewable energy experience is preferred but not required.

Duration: 12 months
Location: Earth, TX
Pay rate: $55-60/hr
PD: $178/day
Fleet truck provided while on assignment.
