Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to fill a seven-eight month assignment in the Atlanta, GA area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field of study

5+ Years of demonstrable experience in data engineering, with a specialization in creating and managing cloud-based data infrastructure

Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Proficient in dimensional modeling with a solid grasp of warehouse construction principles

Adept coding skills in Python, Scala, or SQL and a strong foundation in data governance and security

Excellent capabilities in communication and collaboration, with a knack for resolving complex problems
