Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Transmissions Analyst to fill a three- year assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Job Title: Transmissions Analyst

Work Location: Birmingham, AL

Requirements:

The selected candidate will work with a small team of very experienced employees that handle estimates and pre-design steps/documentation to assist Line Design and Civil Design (primarily with Substations).
The candidate will work with the Head Estimator to develop timely and accurate estimates as requested/needed for Transmission Line projects
Estimates are done using in-house software and on-the-fly labor calculations using a specific spreadsheet
Successful applicant will be required to have significant estimating experience and/or work in Transmission Lines and very willing to learn whichever side they may be less proficient in
Experience in both is a huge plus
