Job Description
Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Senior Substation Project Manager for our engineering client, to support our client's team working from their office in Newark, New Jersey.
Direct position
US citizens or Green Card holders only, as the client is not able to provide sponsorship.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rate: 130K - 210K
Minimum Requirements:
BSEE or BSCE and 10 years' experience, or a M.S. degree in engineering with sufficient experience required for advancement as determined by management, or a combination of applicable education and experience as determined by management
PE or PS License
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work individually and on a team
Detail oriented with a high level of organizational skills

Job Duties:
Plan and develop engineering projects in a wide variety of engineering fields
Directly manage groups of engineers, technicians, and other project support team members
Manage project budgets and schedules, fully accountable for impact of project performance
Maintain liaison with professionals and associates within and outside the company for the purpose of remaining technically current on a wide variety of engineering related topics
Plan, organize, and supervise project teams in the performance of engineering work
Demonstrate technical excellence through fulfilling recognized positions of authority and responsibility on technical committees, working groups and societies, or alternatively author and publish/present technical papers or seminars
Oversee the safety of engineers, technicians, and other project support team members in all projects
