Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Mechanical Coordinator to fill an assignment in the Plant McDonough Smyrna, GA area.

Mechanical Coordinator 1
Contract: 12 months

Rate of pay: $45.60 and per diem if you qualify.

Responsibilities
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications, SOEs
Interact daily with the stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Field support for the project manager; ensuring that all work is being done correctly, efficiently, and within constraints of the schedule
Prepare progress reports and issue reports for the Project Manager
Supervise the activities of contractors and oversee day-to-day field activities

Requirements and Skills
Experience working in an industrial environment
Experience with reading and comprehending P&IDs, Isometrics, Electrical drawings, logic diagrams, etc.
Ability to comprehend technical engineering documents and specifications
Time management and organization skills
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Strong communication skills
Strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities
