IMMEDIATE ASSIGNMENT Outage Coordinator at Calloway Missouri Nuclear StationNuclear Badged within the last 364 days preferred. This position requires coordinating, organizing and performing a variety of duties necessary to support field service week at a customer site during outage. The day-to-day responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive; they outline the primary expectations of this outage role. Functions and responsibilities may vary from site to site. What your day-to-day looks like:
- Receive and process various outage management documents, compile pertinent information into various records such as but not limited to approval requests, schedule, personnel exposure reports, manpower, and data management files.
- Demonstrate proficiency at expected level to use/apply email, various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. A proficiency test is required for Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to operate job and data management tools.
- Coordinate and monitor in-processing at site for all Westinghouse staff and designated Westinghouse subcontractors.
- Act as liaison and/or point of contact to assist with in-processing, except for matters related to Access Authorization or Fitness for Duty Program, including but not limited to the development/rollout of the in-processing schedule.
- Assure all matters related to Access Authorization or Fitness for Duty Programs are referred promptly and solely to the Westinghouse Access Programs group for handling with the customer.
- Maintain and log all correspondence and related paperwork regarding the site, Westinghouse, Westinghouse subcontractors and the NRC.
- Coordinate with the Westinghouse Access Programs group through use of the Access Programs Outage Support Line to monitor the status of access authorization request letters for crew members.
- Coordinate all actions related to observations including but not limited to: daily collections of the Observation cards, scanning for upload to the Westinghouse HU Data Base and generate reports to distribute to all stake holders
- Perform, meet, and greet at Training Center for incoming Westinghouse crews, including contractor personnel working with Westinghouse.
- Perform necessary duties for escorted access for management visits, group project managers and site tours.
- Provide all other administrative support including but not limited to: IT assistance, escorting personnel onto site and around the site, organize shipment request forms and forward on to security, order food and other requests for each group, & other duties as assigned by RSM/Outage Manager/Project Manager/Designee.
- Maintain and monitor fatigue management procedures in accordance with NRC 10CFR26 regulations and site standards and procedures. Run reports to verify compliance.
- Prior experience in a similar position is required.
- Prior experience in nuclear is preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel & obtain/maintain "Unescorted Access" status.
- High school graduate or the recognized equivalent required / Post high school degree (Bachelors or Associates) /certificate, or equivalent in experience is preferred.
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures involving confidential and proprietary information relating to the department and division.
- Ability to keep in confidence all material and information entrusted.
