Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Construction Planning Support opportunity in Richland, WA, to support DOE Hanford.
Organization: Advanced Modular Pretreatment System (AMPS) Project
Work Location: Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. This position may be telework eligible.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site requires general support services for the Advanced Modular Pretreatment System (AMPS) Project to provide support in the following areas:
This high-priority work scope requires assistance in the development of work schedules, capital project deliverables, and integration of work activities across multiple organizations by working with management and other Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) staff members as needed. The Subcontractor will support multiple program support activities required by H2C. In this role, the Subcontractor�s responsibilities include:
Conduct meetings and field walk-downs as necessary, collect requirements, integrate TSCR lessons learned, and gather input from key stakeholders in support of the development of CD-3A and CD-2/3 deliverables (e.g., Project Definition Rating Index) as planned in the project schedule
Support the development of a construction schedule to complete the CD-3A and CD-2/3 scope
Support the development of a construction estimate for the planned CD-3A and CD-2/3 scope
Support the development of the project�s performance baseline
Develop and submit an AMPS Construction Execution Plan that may include, but isn�t limited to: the following topics:
Project Scope
Construction Execution Strategy
Integrated Project Team
Construction Contract Overview
Construction Contract Management
Governing Regulations and Procedures
Change Management
Subcontract Execution
Environmental, Safety and Health
Quality
Schedule
Internal Interfaces
External Interfaces
Testing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum of a two-year Degree in a Technical or Business Field
10 years of experience in the nuclear industry with 10 years of experience in Department of Energy (DOE) Sites.
20 years of professional experience in projects related to design, construction, planning, scheduling, estimating, and testing.
5 years of experience in planning high-risk construction work packages for nuclear facilities.
Experience with projects that require organizational & leadership skills that interface with the various organizations on the project.
Preferred experience supporting DOE O 413.3B capital project(s), is desired.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience and may range between $140,000 and $200,000 annually.
