We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Mechanical Designer. This contract position is based in the vibrant city of Belleville and focuses on designing advanced Generation IV nuclear reactors. The ideal candidate will engage with dynamic teams to develop structural and mechanical design solutions using cutting-edge 3D CAD models.

Responsibilities:
- Develop robust CAD models optimizing fast-paced design evolution.
- Maintain complex mechanical designs while proposing innovative solutions.
- Conduct detailed trade studies to determine optimal configurations supporting various analyses (Structural, Neutronics etc.)
- Document all stages of design progress through our collaborative online platforms efficiently.
- Deliver precise engineering drawings adhering strictly to ASME standards.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
* A Bachelor�s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years) within fields like Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
* Proficient use of SolidWorks showing significant capability handling complicated projects
* Strong analytical skills coupled with creative problem-solving abilities
* Demonstrated ability involving Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing alongside checking fabrication drawings
Experience advocating for manufacturability during both product development phases: DFM & DFA

The role demands someone who can manage multiple tasks concurrently without sacrificing attention-to-detail; showcasing commitment towards maintaining integrity as well as encouraging team collaboration.

Rate of Pay: $53-$70/hr.
