Project Controls Specialist/ HEAVY in Cost- Level C 2 Positions in Chattanooga TN
1 Year Contracts, Desired start by Mid April 2025.

AS THE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT, DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS METHODS FOR PERFORMANCE MONITORING, REPORTING, ANALYSIS, AND TREND ASSESSMENT. FACILITATE PROGRAMS TO ENSURE THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ANALYSIS OF SPECIFIC OPERATIONAL AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENT PLANS USED FOR GOAL SETTING, ESTIMATING PROJECT PLANS, PERFORMANCE INDICATORS/TARGETS, BENCHMARKING, BASELINING, AND TRENDING.
COORDINATE ENGINEERING A/E CONTRACTS, MONITOR CONTRACT EXPENDITURES FOR USAGE TRENDS, ASSIST IN THE PROCESS OF ISSUING NEW CONTRACTS, AMENDING EXISTING CONTRACTS, AND RESOLVE QUESTIONS, ISSUES, ETC. LEAD/MANAGE THE PROCESS ENSURING THE INTEGRITY OF THE PROCESS, RESOLVING PENDING/OUTSTANDING REQUESTS, RECONCILING ENCUMBRANCES AND PENDING TASKS WITH IBS AS REQUIRED.
SERVES AS NUCLEAR/INDUSTRY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT AND MAY BE CALLED UPON BY OTHERS TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL DIRECTION AND OVERSIGHT. ANALYZE COST DATA TO FIND METHODS OF REDUCING COSTS AND/OR INCREASING EFFICIENCY AND COORDINATE A CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN. DEVELOP A COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS. DEVELOP PROJECT BUDGETS AND REPORTING STRUCTURES FOR ACTUAL EXPENDITURES AND MONITOR PERFORMANCE. ASSIST IN DEVELOPING BUDGETS AND REPORTING STRUCTURES FOR ACTUAL EXPENDITURES AND MONITOR PERFORMANCE AS REQUESTED. MONITOR AND FORECAST PERFORMANCE IN COMPARISON TO BUSINESS PLAN OBJECTIVES.
ESTABLISH ADP SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS AND DEVELOP AND INSTITUTE PLANS TO ACCOMPLISH THEM. ASSIST IN DEVELOPING WORKLOAD PROJECTIONS (EQUIVALENTS). CONDUCT SPECIAL STUDIES, FOR EXAMPLE: PROJECT FORECASTING, O&M PROJECTS, CCO, ETC.

Must have at least 5 years or more of experience in Project Controls. Must have experience over large projects in utilities or heavy industrial construction. Desired, Oracle, SAP, Maximo, C55. Must be very strong in Excel and Microsoft Office. Prior Nuclear Industry experience is preferred but not required. These positions are not strong for the Scheduling side in Project Controls positions.

Desired: The preferred candidate will be detail oriented and have a questioning mindset. Someone who loves to mine the details of large projects and wants to know why for cost.
Looking for a self starter. Desire local candidates to be onsite daily, but for the right candidate some remote work might be an option. Some weeks would be required to be onsite. Normal work schedule Full time 4/10�s Monday- Thursday. This is a 1 Year Contract.
Must have a clean Background and be able to pass Background Checks and Drug screens. Must be able to obtain and maintain nuclear clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
