Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Work Planner opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

Work Planner-

The Work Planner will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between projects according to production or other operational schedules. This includes the initiation, preparation, and support of work package planning using a centralized computerized maintenance management system and/or word processing software for work package resolution.

Duties:

Lead the preparation of detailed work packages that control work activities ensuring project completion in a manner that is timely and efficient while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Coordinates walk downs of work package scope with all applicable stake holders.
Ensures that completed work packages contain all the required forms, permits, and relevant documents needed to do work.
Controls and maintains an active log of draft, active, and closed work packages.
Assists in updating work packages (revision control) when construction procedures or field conditions change

Education/Yrs. Of Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science, engineering, business, or task relevant discipline.
Minimum eight (8) years supporting nuclear (DOE preferred) or other industry executing line-item construction projects and/or a combination of education and experience equaling ten (10) years.
Must have strong construction work planning experience.

Other Job Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE �Q� clearance
