Project: Power Uprate projects - Digital "Turbine / BOP"

Work Location: Full Time Onsite or Part Remote (please reach out to us to discuss variables and decide which you prefer)
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Duration: Initially One Year w/ annual extensions expected
Schedule: (4) Ten Hour Days / week

Position / Scope: Provide technical support in the Engineering Services department for the Uprate Project as a digital engineer specializing in turbine controls reviews designs and support implementation of digital systems to regulate and protect turbines, focusing on optimizing performance, safety, and reliability through advanced control algorithms and monitoring technologies.

Support:

• Design and Development: Support/Review the digital control systems for turbines, including the hardware and software components.
• Support turbine performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Review safety and protection systems to prevent damage to the turbine and ensure safe operation.
• Support troubleshooting and maintain the digital control systems, ensuring their proper functioning.

Education:

• Engineering Degree highly desired with 3-5 + years Turbine related Digital Control Systems engineering experience in the nuclear industry
• 7 - 10+ years Turbine related Digital Control Systems engineering experience in the nuclear industry in lieu of a degree may be considered
