Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Engineer to fill a one-year assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Per diem is available if you qualify.
PPE Required: 100% cotton / FR clothing, Safety glasses with side shields, Steel toe boots, Hard hat
Worker will be required to provide own transportation to various reporting locations minus normal commute.
This job assignment will be in the Substation Integration Automation (SIA) group.
In addition the selected candidate will be required to provide own transportation to various reporting locations minus normal commute.
Qualifications:
Substation SCADA RTU knowledge
Substation relay protection and control knowledge
Industrial control systems (PLCs, generation plant controls, industrial plant controls)
Computer Networks (OT, Industrial networks)
Computer skills
Basic AC & DC electrical system understanding and troubleshooting skills
Does this position require driving (excluding commute)? Yes
Does this position require personal protective equipment (PPE)? Yes
