Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced System Engineer to fill a eight- month assignment in the Bucks, AL area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Per diem is available if you qualify.

Required PPE: Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots

Education:
Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
Candidates must have an Engineering degree from an ABET Accredited Institution.

Experience:
5 - 10 years experience
Prior experience in industrial automation, control systems, or process engineering.

Skills:
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems.
Familiarity with P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams).
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

System Design:
Develop and design control systems, instrumentation, and automation solutions for plant equipment and processes.

Integration:
Integrate various subsystems (such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS) to create a cohesive and efficient plant-wide system.

Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to plant systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

Process Optimization:
Analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Maintenance:
Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and preventive measures.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
