Job Description/Duties:

� Maintain, repair, calibrate, test, and keep records on power plant electrical equipment (< 600 volts).
� Use drawings/prints, manuals, and procedure as well as all types of tooling and specialized equipment required for electrical work.
� Non-routine work requiring inspection(s), troubleshooting, evaluation, decision making, and utilization of computers.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

� Associate�s degree or higher in electronics, engineering technology, instrumentation, or related field.
� 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting (may be reduced to 3 years with an Associate�s degree or higher in electrical/electronics field).
� 3 years of nuclear experience OR previous outage experience at Duke Energy.
� Experience with installation of temporary power service in a major industrial setting (i.e., single and three phase circuits, pulling cables, terminations, installation of temporary breakers and panels).
� Complete Purchaser specific training and testing.
� High School diploma or equivalent.
