Education & Experience: Ph.D. degree in applicable science or engineering discipline and 5+ years� experience. OR A MS with 8+ years� experience. OR A BS with 10+ years� experience or more.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- Understands and applies advanced knowledge of discipline�s standard theories, concepts, principles and techniques.
- Working knowledge of standard engineering/scientific practices and applications.

Nice to Have:
- Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years.
- Value Management engineering studies and alternative solutions.
- Management tracking, validations, and verifications.
- Development and implementation of system engineering software tools (e.g. CORE, DOORS, Expert Choice, etc.)
- Engineering integration and interface activities.
- Development and execution of project management plans.

Prior Systems Engineering experience:20%
Prior DOE, SRS/SRNS, Design Authority, Design Engineering, Project Engineering Experience :20%
Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years / ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" clearance.: 20%
Availability of candidate to mobilize and begin execution of the duties of the position: 10%

Duration of the Contract: 1 year 2 option periods
� Option Periods are not guaranteed and are executed at the discretion of the hiring manager.
� Yearly options will automatically include a 3.5% escalation.
