Mechanical Piping Engineer - AUTOPIPE expert
Project/Work Scope: Engineering Support - Position can be supported remote with several trips per quarter
Estimated Start Date: 3/17/2025 or ASAP
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
BCP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who has 20+ years of experience using AUTOPIPE in a nuclear setting.
Educational Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Degree
Responsibilities include:
• Design and develop pipe stress analysis, loads and deflections in a nuclear setting.
• Create and evaluate mechanical systems using CAD software and simulation tools.
• Establish specifications and technical requirements for mechanical equipment and materials.
• Select suitable materials, components, and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.
• Develop engineering solutions.
• Manage facility equipment operations, maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
• Evaluate current systems and propose engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Manage facility equipment operations, maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
• Evaluate current systems and propose engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 lbs.
