Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining facility configuration information accurate at Oconee Nuclear Station in compliance with approved procedures and requirements. It involves Configuration Management (CM) activities in all Engineering disciplines (i.e.: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Nuclear). Work is performed using MicroStation, Microsoft tools, NAS/Fusion, etc.

Responsibilities include:
Revise and issue documents per ECs and AR using NAS, MicroStation, Word:
As-Build Documents (both utility and Vendor) including:
Civil, Mech, Elec.
DBDs and Specs
Safety Related SRI & SRG
Cyber Documents
Issue VTOs
Create. Revise, Delete and Assess equipment data records in the Equipment Database (EDB).
Perform Configuration Management reviews of Engineering Changes to include:
Verification of approved configuration depiction and consistency across design documents and databases.
Verification of all information needed to perform the as-built configurations of design documents and databases (EDB) after Engineering Change implementation.
Verification Cyber Security Configuration Documentation is correctly entered in documents and databases (EDB)
Creation of new Equipment tags including the use of the EDME bulk loading tool.
Review of document changes to verify depicted equipment is adequately populated in EDB for station use.
Review of document symbols and depiction for consistency with drawing standards and industry/Duke practices.
Verifying drawing legibility for station users.
Accept, Process, and Complete Action Request (AR) Assignments
Create and process CMU-ECs for ARs involving EDB and DEDB
Provide site-wide support for CM issues
Provide CM input at Cyber Security CSAT meetings on cyber document updates
Provide 24/7 Outage Coverage

 
Basic/Required Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting applications, Microsoft tools and NAS/Fusion (e.g., EC, WR/WO and EDB modules), or the ability to quickly attain competency in these applications based on education or experience with similar work applications.
Ability to perform at a high production rate and manage multiple tasks through effective work management of assigned duties. Adjust work priorities and schedules as it relates to CM and support emergent activities in a constructive and professional manner.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with site personnel (Management, Design Engineering, Nuclear Projects, Engineering Firms (EOCs), Maintenance, etc.).

Desired Qualifications:
Associate degree from a two-year technical school or community college.
