We are seeking an Expert Project Manager to join our team. The Expert Project Manager will be responsible for the Planning, requesting, and coordinating logistics for the equipment and labor resources needed for the project.� You will utilize your expertise in project management methodologies, leadership skills, communication abilities, and business acumen to ensure that projects are completed successfully, meeting stakeholder expectations and organizational goals.�
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Civil and DOT projects and a working knowledge of hydraulic jacking and sliding operations. The work location will be in our client's Mt Vernon, WA office, with travel to outside work locations in the region as project needs arise. Work on location may exceed 30 days in duration. Candidates within 100 miles of Mt Vernon, WA, or Oregon City, OR, are preferred but not required.��
Responsibilities:�
Strategic Planning and Alignment: You will develop strategic project plans that align project goals with the organization�s strategic objectives and be able to support long-term planning and integration with other organizational initiatives. You will need to ensure stakeholder alignment by engaging with senior stakeholders and end users to ensure their expectations and objectives are met while balancing and aligning needs with project deliverables.�
Advanced Resource Management:�You will implement strategies to optimize the use of high-value resources across multiple projects.�This will require negotiation with resource owners and other departments to secure necessary resources.�You will provide guidance and mentorship to project team members while fostering a culture of safety, quality, teamwork and continuous learning.�
Comprehensive Risk Management:�You will conduct thorough risk assessments, including financial, operational, and strategic risks and develop advanced risk mitigation and contingency plans. You will provide guidance during project crisis. This would include leading crisis management efforts when significant risks materialize. This will be done while communicating effectively with all stakeholders.�
Financial Oversight and Budget Management:�You will apply advanced budgeting and forecasting techniques, develop, and oversee complex project budgets, while ensuring all financial controls and reporting mechanisms are in place. You will be responsible for financial performance monitoring and implementing corrective actions when necessary, providing financial reporting and insights to senior leadership. You will be responsible for engaging with our client�s sales lead for any contract change order requests.�
High-Level Quality Assurance:�You will establish quality standards and benchmarks for project deliverables and implement robust quality assurance processes for all project deliverables. You will be expected to drive continuous improvement initiatives within project management practices.�
Leadership and Governance: You will lead and manage medium to large, cross-functional project teams which will require you to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within and between teams and stakeholders. You will be required to maintain project governance structures ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.�
Advanced Communication and Reporting:�You will prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to executive leadership using data-driven insights to inform decision-making. You will be expected to maintain clear and effective communication channels with all stakeholders and facilitate high-level meetings and discussions.�
Project Integration and Coordination:�You�will�oversee and coordinate multiple�or�interrelated projects�while ensuring�integration and alignment between different project streams.�
Project Closure and Evaluation:�You will conduct thorough project reviews and evaluations during and upon completion, documenting and communicating lessons learned and best practices. You will also be expected to ensure a smooth transition and handover of project deliverables to outside stakeholders and / or operational teams, validating that all project objectives have been met.�

Qualifications:�
Bachelor�s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Work experience in place of formal education will be considered.
Minimum of 10-15 years of project management experience, with a significant portion focused on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly bridge expansions or replacements.
Strong understanding of bridge design, construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Extensive experience working with state and federal transportation agencies, ensuring compliance with public sector requirements.��
Preferred experience with hydraulic jacking and sliding processes. �
Ability to effectively communicate with and manage expectations of DOT officials, contractors, engineers, and community representatives.�
Must be proficient in reading and working with engineering drawings�
Experience with developing and overseeing project schedules, cost impact analysis, and project management process.??�
Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.?�
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.?
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:��
Experience with civil DOT projects preferred��
Experience with hydraulic jacking and sliding operations.��
Must be willing and able to work at and travel to the branch office, corporate office, and project sites.��
