Power Range Neutron Monitoring Engineer

NPower Solutions is seeking a Power Range Neutron Monitoring Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. You will focus on developing and author design change packages following IP-ENG-001 standards and provide engineering support for nuclear power plant refueling outages.

Location: LaSalle

Dates: 12/02/24 - 12/31/25

Key Responsibilities:

Upgrading major industrial components, completing design qualifications and participating in training on nuclear design processes.
Providing technical expertise in engineering analysis, managing projects, ensuring configuration management, and recommending equipment and design improvements to enhance performance and compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 4+ years of experience focused on Design Engineering for industrial plant systems and power plant analysis, including PEPSI Heat Balance modeling.
Required experience includes specialized projects such as MURs, EPU/SPUs, or turbine replacements.
