Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Controls-Subject Matter Expert (SME) opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.
Work Location: Greenville, SC
Project Controls-SME- 01:
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to management on classification requirements and compliance and on the CD process and deliverable format
Review and provide input to specifications for engineered equipment and/or subcontracts
Review and provide input to estimators on resources (labor and other-than-labor) needed to perform the scope of work
Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities
Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to serve as the basis for establishing milestones and PBIs
Provide input to engineers, estimators, and schedulers on constructability, maintain-ability, operability, and commissioning
Provide input to technical writers for BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary
Education & Years of Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
Five (5) years of experience demonstrating knowledge of desired area of subject matter expertise
Bachelor’s degree (candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience).
Other Job Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE (“L” or “Q”) security clearance.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls.
