ReNuke Services/Oak Ridge Technologies is seeking a GIS Technician for our client's site in Idaho Falls, ID!

Position Purpose:
Provide support to the IEC Environmental Restoration GIS Lead in the preparation of maps and figures for inclusion in reports, plans, and other regulatory deliverables; assist in the development and maintenance of maps and GIS project data sets, and performing GIS system maintenance and editing tasks.

Preparation of maps and figures - 65%
Development and maintenance of GIS datasets - 20%
GIS system maintenance and editing - 15%

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):
Qualifications
-Four-year degree in GIS, geospatial technologies, or related field
-2-4 years of experience using GIS in a professional setting

Experience
-Proficient in producing maps in Arc GIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro
-Experience using a wide variety of GIS software tools
-Experience editing GIS data with a high degree of accuracy

Special Requirements/Training (Optional):
Preferred Skills and Experience
-Skills and experience with cartographic design
-Understanding of coordinate systems
-Ability to identify problems and work in a team environment to find solutions
-Able to work with established workflows and manage multiple tasks
-Use and knowledge of GPS and field surveying
